Resistance Training:

Resistance training programs are designed to produce changes that result in various strength adaptations. Whether the goal is to increase muscle mass, develop better athletic performance or reduce body fat, the use of resistance training is an important component of any program. this will help ensure optimal health and longevity.


Flexibility Training:

Flexibility training is a key component for all training programs. It is used for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Correcting muscle imbalances
  • Increasing joint range of motion
  • Decreasing the excessive tension of muscles
  • Relieving joint stress
  • Improving the extensibility of the musculotendinous junction
  • Maintaining the normal functional length of all muscles
  • Improving optimum neuromuscular efficiency
  • Improving function

Core Training:

The core is where the body’s center of gravity is located and where all movement begins. An efficient core is necessary for maintaining proper muscle balance throughout the entire kinetic chain. Optimum lengths (or length-tension relationships), recruitment patterns (or force-couple relationships) and joint motions (or arthrokinematics) in the muscles of the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex establish neuromuscular efficiency throughout the entire kinetic chain. This allows for efficient acceleration, deceleration and stabilization during dynamic movements as well as the prevention of possible injuries.


 

Cardiorespiratory Training:

All physical activity regardless of duration or intensity, must use the cardiorespiratory system to either sustain the activity or recuperate from it. Cardiorespiratory training is a separate component of the oerall workout program that is used in a few distinct ways:

  • warm-up
  • cool-down
  • workout

Balance Training:

Balance is key to all functional movement. However, it does not work in isolation and is not static. Maintenance of postural equilibrium is an integrated, dynamic process requiring optimal muscular balance, joint dynamics and neuromuscular efficiency. Balance training challenges an individual’s ability to stabilize out-side their normal base of support. By training in a multisensory environment there will be more of a demand on the nervous system’s ability to activate the right muscles at the right time in the right plane of motion.


 

Reactive Training:

Reactive training provides the ability to train specific movement patterns in a biomechanically correct manner at a more functionally appropriate speed. This provides better functional strengthening of the muscle, tendon and ligaments to meet the demands of everyday activities and sports.

Speed, Agility and Quickness Training:

Speed, agility and quickness training allows a client to enhance his or her ability to accelerate, decelerate and dynamically stabilize the entire body during higher-velocity acceleration and deceleration movements in all planes of motion. It may further help the nervous system to respond or react more efficiently to demands placed on it and enhance muscular recruitment and coordination when performed with correct mechanics.
